Oh dear!

I´ve just heard that two of my grandsons have tested positive for Covid...they are twelve and seven years old and live in England. Thank goodness they appear to only have it mildly according to their father, although he says he has been really poorly for about ten days, even though he and his partner both tested negative and are fully vaccinated.

The boys´ mother, with whom they live part time, tested positive yesterday. She unfortunately is unvaccinated, by choice. Their Christmas is going to be complicated this year.

  1. My nephew is due to take his mock GCSE's immediately after the Christmas holidays so the whole family are not seeing anyone over Christmas as far as work allows. They have all been vaccinated and two out of the four of them have had Covid inspite of being vaccinated but the boy didn't get it and dad is a doctor and has had it too. The mocks may be the result upon which his eventual grades are based if Covid continues to threaten schools so it is important that he takes them. I think many people in England are going to have a complicated Christmas. Life continues to be complicated here in fact!

    1. So much disruption for so many people, one wonders whether life will ever get back to "normal"!
