The vet has changed Toby´s heart medication...he has to have 1/4 of a tablet once a day.
Look at the size of the wretched thing sitting on my finger. Even using a tablet cutter doesn´t really help as it crushes the quarters. Give me strength!

I understand completely. I take 1/4 tablet once a day but it's twice the size of that! I cut mine with a sharp knife. The tablet has a groove to mark half so it's not too bad. Good luck!

DeleteMedicating animals isn't easy is it. I pray each day that Willow will eat all of the food with the med on. Sometimes she does sometimes she doesn't, it drives me nuts worrying about it. We have a check up coming and I hope she is okay, Briony x
ReplyDeleteIt certainly isn´t easy. I used to mix his medication with his food, but like Willow he wouldn´t always eat it. Now I mash a little cooked carrot with the tablet as he loves carrots and offer it to him like a treat in the palm of my hand and he scoffs it down. The things we do for them!
